Hello! I'm Ella :)
From an early age, and still today, Tim Burton's work has been one of my biggest inspirations for pursuing a career in the Art Department. Films such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Alice in Wonderland (2010), and Corpse Bride, allowed me to lose myself in the weird and wonderful worlds Burton creates. I love creating eccentric and imaginative designs that have the ability to transport people out of reality and into my world!
Throughout university, I have discovered a passion for concept art, graphics, and prop design. Whether researching topics, sourcing props, or creating original designs, I always take pride in going above and beyond to fully immerse myself in a production. During the production of the USW student short film Stages, it was an incredible experience to see what I had created in my concept visuals come to life on screen, almost exactly as I had imagined it.
